Set collaboration invitation preferences separately for each role

Audience and prerequisites

Sign in to your own account. These preferences express your openness to being found as an invitation candidate; they do not publish your profile or accept a received invitation.

Change and verify invitation preferences

1. Open Settings at /settings from the sidebar.
2. Select “Invitation preferences” (「招待受付」). Role-specific switches appear.
3. To welcome administrator invitations, enable “Open to program administrator invitations”. Wait for the setting to be saved.
4. For participant opportunities, enable “Open to program participant invitations”. This does not enable other roles.
5. Set reviewer and mentor invitation preferences independently using their respective switches.
6. Each switch saves automatically. Wait for saving to finish and verify the selected value. There is no separate Save button for these switches.
7. If saving fails, retry that item and verify the result. A visible error is not successful completion.

Stop accepting invitations for a role

1. Reopen Settings → Invitation preferences and turn off the switch for the role you no longer want to accept.
2. Wait for automatic saving and confirm the off state persists. Configure other roles independently.

Important notes

• These switches are not bulk-email permissions or evaluation-notification controls. They do not remove existing memberships or invitation history.
• Public career-profile disclosure does not automatically opt you into invitation candidacy.
